Microsoft Works Word Processor not opening blank.?

Microsoft Works Word Processor is not opening on a blank document.(works 7.0). it is opening with a template of a letter i created. i have since deleted the letter from the computer uninstalled and reinstalled works and it is still opening with this letter as a blank document! help from microsoft is non-existent. can somebody help me please?

1. you probably saved the template for the letter as your default template. Clear the document of all text and resave it as your default template.
2. click on FILE , click on PAGE SETUP , then on bottom left is a default button. change word doc to the way you want to see it come up , then press default and it will always come up like that
