Bank charges query?

Do I send my template letter to my branch or head office?

Public Comments

  1. Send it to your Branch. They should be able to deal with it there and then, but if they have to refer to Head Office you will have lost nothing.
  2. Both
  3. recorded deliveryto your branch. or personally hand it in.
  4. whatever branch houses your account. Other branches do not reverse fees for any branch other than their own. You should do it in person...it has more merit. However, written complaints get filed and have to be handled!!
  5. Proly both
  6. DON'T send it to the branch! It will not be dealt with at branch level, so theres no point. Always send your letter to the Head Office Address, and from there they will route it to the correct department, or to their solicitors. Always use recorded delivery when you send anything to the bank. This way, you have proof that the letter has been delivered, and more importantly, you can see when it was delivered, and then the deadlines start from that date. You can find out when your letter was delivered at the bank using the free tracking facility on the Royal Mail Website. Sending to Head Office is always the best thing to do, and was successfull for myself and many others that i`ve helped to claim, through my site below.
