Can anyone give some advice for writing a CV for the IT industry??

I am applying for positions such as network technician, as I have just finished a 2 year system support diploma and am studying for the Network+ exam. How about personal profile?? What qualities are most important Also I actually have little work experience as I am just trying to break into the industry so any advice for work experience section?

  1. my C.V is www.gavinmilward.me.uk/CV feel free to take a look. Its far from professional in writing style I'm not too good with english grammar. but this is what i used. Experience is the key part, as you can see on mine i fell into the position and working in the industry purely on experience. many of the qualifications actually teach very little, Network+ is quite basic. A lot of companies over gone for through around MCSE for network admin, but netwrok engineer work as lucritive which you would benifit from a Cisco certification.
  2. Include your certifications, but employers want to see that you've see real-world problems. I have a Cisco Network+ cert. from university, and I've never seen a Cisco router outside of school. But the experience I gained while training for the cert. was enough to get me my first job.
  3. first of all write it as I am looking for a daynamic job in the felid of IT so that I can prove how skilled I am and also improve my skills according to real world. Then write your sudies then your Diplomas and down studing for Network+ and why? then your skills what you have done any projects and any internships. then at the end write
  4. your best bet is to go and search writing CV's on the net and download a sample. you can then change it to what you need.
