Any advice on writing a CV for work experience?

I don't know how to hint in the CV that i would like to get paid for a summer job to gain work experience. i'm currently a university student, so any advice on writing it? (i've never written to a company ever!)

1. If you are a university student then there must be a writing lab that can help you with this? Find the best English prof and ask them if they can recommend a web site or book that will explain the process to you. You have never written to a company? Are you a freshman? I did this in junior college. Seriously, there are so many resources out on the internet and at the public or university library...utilize them all. BTW, I was always told that a CV is for a professional such as a doctor, lawyer, PhD...etc. Undergrads write resumes.
