help with microsoft powerpoint please?

is it possible to have one different design template in the entire presentation, if so how? I have downloaded a design from online but only want that design for one slide, as opposed to the entire show.

1. Depending on your version, you should just be able to apply the "theme" to a single slide. Then you can select a different slide and apply a different theme there as well. I can tell you this works on both 2003 and 2007. Other than that, I'm not sure.
