Powerpoint- Changing background color?

So I am using powerpoint right now, and I picked out a design template thing, and I like it, I added a new slide, there is nothing on the slide 2nd slide considering I just added it, both backgrounds are green, how do I change the 2nd slides background from green to blue or orange NOT green, thanks (:

1. Go into "Format", "Slide Color Scheme" and choose your color. Then it "apply". If you hit "apply to all", it will change all of them, but if you just hit "apply", it changes only that one. You'll have to select the tab for "Custom" on the slide color scheme page. Then choose the colors you want for each part of the template.
