Removing an Image from a PowerPoint print out?

Hi, I making a design template in power point. I have a black boarder showing the area which can be used is there anyway to hide this when it prints out WITH OUT overlaying a shape ontop. sending it to back or deleting it? I just want it visable on the presentaion view but now the full slide print out. Good luck. BTW I know using publisher would probally be easier but I'm restricted to using powerpoint

  1. The easiest way would be to copy that particular slide and take the border off the copy. Then if you want the one with border to show when you run the presentation, set up your show to be custom, specifying slide numbers to appear in the show, and when printing, again specify the slide nos. to be printed, i.e. File, Print, Click on Pages, and type in the slide nos. Hope this helps.
