How Do I edit and then post onto my website a free flash template I download online?

Ok, Well my sisters friend is wanting a website and I want to make it look nice.. I know u can download free flash templates but I don't know how to edit them and then post them on my site... Is there anyway u guys can help me?!

1. Remember, there are 2 file extensions as far as flash is concerned. One is the raw .fla file which can be edited and the second is the actual .swf file. If you download flash template check if it has the raw flash file too. Let me also tell you it is not very easy to modify a fla file as it may contain many movies and movies inside movies. It may also have actionscript embedded for buttons and other stuff. Be careful while editing. You are better off creating one yourself.
