How do u save a design template on photshop to a powerpoint file?

ok i made a design template on photshop and when i saved it and applied it to the powerpoint it said it couldn't. so when i save my design whate file doesn't i have to be to be applied on to powerpoint? examples of files: png?jpeg?bitmap? p.s. its microsoft powerpoint

1. I would personally save it as a png, but jpeg works too. then import the image into powerpoint. good luck!
2. if you want keep the transparent image, safe it using png or gif format. otherwise, use bmp or jpg is fine. if your picture full of colours, jpg is better option to save diskspace.
