Business Communications homework question?

I have the following question to answer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! "Has the production of computer generated documents helped improved business communication? Give reasons." Does this question refer to templates that are in Word, and etc.?

1. It refers to using the computer to communicate (email, IM, typed letters, etc.) versus a more personal connection by communicating over the phone or in person. You'll have to pick a side and figure out if you think that the benefits of computer communication (faster, can communicate more, takes less time) outweigh the cons (can be misunderstood, don't get the same personal connection). Then, you have to make your case. Good luck!
