Web site help!! [CSS & TEMPLATES]?

Hi I'm a newbie on creating websites, and my friend asked me to do his for his bis. yes bad idea but I want to help I have gotten a template...i just don't know what to do now, I have uploaded the images to my public_html [i use hostmonster.com] i don't know what to do next [if there is any pro's out there email me, i think i will have to pay someone to do this!!!!!!] calioiler2 at yahoo.com

1. Well...you may be in over your head... It's hard to tell what you are doing, and what you need just from your question...but the first step in creating a site from a template is customizing the template in an HTML editor, such as Dreamweaver (or a free one will work, just not as well). If you can manage that, start with the index. If you downloaded something with a dynamic master page, edit that one first. You will know if it is a master because it will end in .dwt If you find that you are in way over your head, you can talk to your friend and hire a pro (like me!). Template work is pretty inexpensive.
