DH Templates

Is there a way to cover an existing template on a website with another?

My mom and I started this home business, and the package came with a website that is just horrible looking. I know for a fact we won't attract buyers with the site they provided. I know there is a way to cover up their existing template with an html one. How can I go about finding this code?

  1. Learn html and css hon, you'll definately be able to do what you want.
  2. Well it depends on what kind of “page” you have…. For example I have a forum based on phpBB that you can choose from hundreds of templates that are super easy to install, also joomla, vbulletin and other software like that will allow you to download free templates…. If your software providers do not offer that you can always hire a web designer to do it for you. I know a guy that is a very good designer that can help you if you need that imheretodesign.com just tell him that I sent you
  3. You find the code by looking at it - there are too many possibilities for someone to tell you what to look for unless they actually have the code to look at. About the only way you're going to do that, short of hiring someone to do it, is to learn the language(s) the site is written in. You wouldn't expect to be able to find the reference to the windmill in the original of Don Quixote if you couldn't read Spanish, would you? Or expect someone who's never read the story to tell you where to find it? You'll probably need, at least, HTML and CSS. If the pages are generated in PHP, you'll also have to be able to read that.
