How do i edit logos that come with website templates?

I've seen people nicely edit text with website templates that come with graphical logos. How do i do so with a JPG?

1. you have to open it up with photoshope or another good photo editing program(i don't recommend using paint) and then just edit it
2. You need their PSD files to edit them. Or you can replace them buy the new ones by editing the whole template. Search for the logo image url and replace it with the one you like in html.
