How can I write CV when out of work for a year? I'm an accountant work for CPA accounting firm for 4 years in HK until Dec 2005, then travelled for a little while. Then I went to Melbourne on April 2006 and looking for job in there. I already tried headhunter and recruitment company to assist find a job, I didn't care any level position or lowest salaries, but I can't get a full time or part time job. It has now struck me that I have actually been out of work for a year and this would look real bad on my CV, especially when I am 30. My friend has written a CV for a job that I am referring him for (so the application has a baring on me - i.e. if he is declined it may make me look bad) and I feel he has made several fatal flaws in it.
