Concerning "MySpace", can XML, and or SWF flash files be used on "MySpace" when designing one's own web page? I read somewhere (on MySpace) that of course html was acceptable, but I wanted to know if XML and SWF flash were acceptable as well. There's a site called ( OhMyFlash.com ) that has some really nice flash templates I wouldn't mind using. Html is okay, but it's very limited ( I would like to add a little flash to my MySpace page).

MySpace Layout? There's a layout which you can use for you're profile which is done by professional designers.I think it's called Flash.......... but i can't remember the rest of it! need help!!!! (preferably experienced html / css / flash people!?)? i have a myspace page and my id has quotes around it. the id is displayed in the title bar of the browser, but instead of quotes, it displays & q u o t ; (no spaces, i had to do this cause Y!A automatically changes it to real quotes) around my id. also, this flash (here's the basic layout of it: http://www.flaashy.com/flash_templates/screens/screens2.swf ), (click on the box and the dark bold black text in the left top corner is where the id is) doesnt recognize the quotes either but instead of & q u o t ; it displays quot . help plz!!!!!!!!!! no, i cant add any "" quote signs or other special characters , just text.

How much hosting space is required to host a social networking website? If I wanted to develop the new 'myspace' or 'Facebook', and guessing that there could be as many as 500,000 or 1million people interested in signing up and using the website, how much space would I need to host a site that could have that many people setting up accounts? How Can I Find Someone To Help Me Create A Flash Website? We've bought our domain name www.visualelementsonline.com We had someone create an online catalog but we are going to have to change a few things included in that but we don't know how to create the flash code. Using flash to create slideshow type thing.? I want to add a flash application to my web page. Kind of like the myspace slide show things...but of course I don't want it to be a slideshow of mypsace pictures. Basically I want a flash scrolling box thing. I tried just altering the code from myspace, but I have no experience with flash. It would be helpful if someone could link me to a good code template for what I'm looking to achieve and how I'm supposed to link it to my pages because I'd like to have the flash content external. Best Website Design Software? Hi, there! My fiance and I own a new photography business and are tired of using MySpace as our home page, so I bought a domain name and am trying to make a website. I am fairly good with HTML, but I want a site builder that is easy to use so that she could update it on her own. I am looking to buy a program that allows you to create the site using visuals rather than HTML text, you know? Like FrontPage, I guess--that gives you the code while you alter your site. I would also the program to have some templates to help us work with. Our website is www.cc-kc.com, and right now we have a free flash template that we've been using, but it sucks. How do I get into graphic designing for web pages? Okay, first things first, I know how to surf the web and all, but other than that, when it comes to computers, I'll place my hand on the Bible, raise my right hand, and will take an oath to swear that I am an absolute dumbass that knows absolutely nothing further about them. I want to learn how to use programs like Adobe Flash and varioius other graphic design programs to create elaborate web pages, especially various different Myspace profiles and templates. Those myspace comments you always see with elaborate artificial pictures that look realistic? I want to learn how to do that. What's seriously embarrassing is when I see 14 year olds making these elaborate profiles and webpages with different sparking icons and all, and I'm 21!!! What programs are used, and how can I learn to do that too? (Oh, and remember, you're talking to an idiot here, so please be simple and specific) Thank you!

Tips for an out of touch graphic/Web designer In Wordpress (CMS, CSS, HTML)? I've asked this question before, but this time it's slightly different. Im very experienced in Photoshop and Flash, and I need to create a CMS based website with a great template, on an easy and user friendly platform (Wordpress ?) But I dont really know anything about CMS. Im much more on the visual design side of things, but I need to learn CMS, find a good template and get a website up and running very soon. (If I can, I'll be given a job for the company who needs the website made) Im very creative, and a very quick learner. I've set up a Wordpress blog for the site, but I need to turn it into a website (Big banner, real navigation bar etc.) And another question about Wordpress...Instead of having a 'post' can I have an Image instead ? I dont mean putting an image IN the post, I mean completely swapping the post for an Image, with text ON TOP of it. I understand a static page may be the answer to that question, if so, how do I create one ? Im looking through www.w3schools.com , but I was wondering If someone could give me a few (or a lot) of handy tips to do what I need to do ? I'm thinking of using The 960 Grid System [http://960.gs/] But I have no idea how to create custom CSS. Can anyone explain to me how ? I just created a website for layouts. What do i do next? I have several questions in this topic. I bought the domain at domain.com and then got an email saying my domain wouldn't be active for 60 days! Is this because I got a host from a different website? I paid to host at godaddy.com Also, I see layout sites to get an idea of what I want. I already have the tools and such to create my website and all the backgrounds for the layouts. But I'm not quite sure exactly how a website builder program works. I have dreamweaver mx 2004 and adobe page maker. Where do i start? I want to have flash graphics but how do I apply them? How do i make a template? Last but not least, I see myspace layout sites with different styles of layouts. Such as default, double background, skinny,... How do people create those templates? Because I want mine to be custom and unique. How do people get all these details on the template that I can't find codes for anywhere? CSS and Flashlayouts - Need Help Please? For 3 days I have searched for Free CSS and Flashlayouts. I'm not having luck. The CSS I need a nice layout that is premade - I don't know how to make these yet... and very little time right now to learn how. I keep finding layouts that I have to put together myself or ones that say "your company's name here" .... The Flashlayouts no luck either... I keep finding flash widgets... I tried LoveMyFlash but it's for MySpace *tells me to enter My MySpace account* - and I don't need this layout for the MySpace site. I'm using Yahoo and Google search engines and they don't seem to understand "Free Flash Layouts" or "Free Premade CSS Layouts or Templates" I'm tired of looking with no luck -- it was time to ask someone who might know.
