How can I get Real Estate Agent Templates for iWeb? Hi everyone!! I'm a real estate agent and I use iWeb a lot for other personal projects and was wondering what a great way to manage my real estate website. I can't seem to find any websites that offer templates that work for iWeb that are for real estate agents. Does anyone know where I can find some?

I have someone who wants a real estate website and they want to upate themselves. Any ideas? They want me to design the entire site and offer a template so that they can update listings daily. The site they use now uses PHP but I'm wondering if there's a better way? Something that deals with Microsoft would be great. Maybe ASP? Please help.

What are my obligations to avoid HTML copyright infringement? I would like to copy and paste the HTML of a listing on a real estate website to modify and use as a template for my own "for sale by owner" listing. Looking to start a real estate company? I'm looking to start a real estate company. All of that aside I'm trying to find a good place to create a website. So far the only one I know of is iHouse. Does anyone know of any websites that do real estate? I'm really looking for a template site that I modify and make my own. It would also be appreciated if the site allowed for MLS lookups. To answer the question posed I'm looking to do both but I'm leaning more towards selling properties that have just been built. Dreamweaver websites, how in depth can you make them? I am a complete beginner, that wants to get into making websites. I have various ideas for websites, just wondering how in depth can you make websites when using dreamweaver? Say for example can you make websites which other people can sign in and upload details such as real estate website, with someone wanting to list a house for sale. Or are dreamweaver websites only custom to a certain level, using templates and limited use. Would using dreamweaver be my best option in terms of creating a custom made in depth website? Website design - are many sites set up as genuine sites or as blogs? I'm a bit surprised to see so many websites looking like blogs, with wide side margins, rather than using all this prime real estate and filling the entire page. I don't mean that they should run text from one side to the other, or use up all available "white space" until the text is unreadable. But they could break the text into readable, interesting sections with headings. So my question: Are those wide margins a trend? Or do you suppose that people just start using a template and don't realize there can be so much more to it? Thanks for your thoughts.

Can you duplicate a custom wordpress site to use for future websites? I want to have a new website created for my real estate company. I know my designer uses worpress and customizes the theme, and all of that good stuff. My question is, once he's created that custom site, how can we save that site as a template so that when I offer my agents their own website, he can just duplicate my current site, and change the top of the first page to reflect the new agents name, but everything else is exactly the same? I guess the main question is: Is there an easy way to duplicate a custom site to make it a "template" to use for more sites that need the exact same layout?

Is an Online College a Good Idea for Me to Break into IT like I have Always Wanted to do? I have primarily worked in the residential/commercial real estate/development industry. However, during that time I have been part of a software implementation involving JD Edwards (now PeopleSoft or Oracle?) and part of website design/maintenance. I loved it! No matter where I work, I'm always drawn towards IT. The fact of the matter is that the economy tanked, I was laid off, and happened to have a child at the same time. My life is upside down, but I know that I still want to work in IT. Where do I begin? I have an Associates in Marketing. I was looking into getting my BA in IT with Western Governors University online. I enjoyed web design, but feel that that is not going to be in demand in the future with the templates they have out now and will improve upon. All my networks/contacts are in the real estate/development industry. I have been unable to obtain IT contacts. The ones I've worked with have been so withdrawn as if I was going to steal their secrets and then their jobs right out from under them. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate some advice on how to begin my path and what emphasis is best to head down? I hear Security will be in high demand. What mentality is best for that type of work and how hard is it to get into with the security clearances needed? PS - I'm also living in a rural area not too outrageously far from DC, but what IT jobs are best for telecommuting?
