I want a cool CSS template thats free that really grabs peoples attention, ive been though hundreds of pages of templates on sites like freecsstemplates. com and a couple others, but none of them really grabbed my attention or something that has like the whole home page be a image with the "About us, Contacts, Videos, etc." like this http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/28787.html but that one costs

How accurately coded are pre-made CSS templates? Well you know those sites that offer free CSS Website templates? How accurately coded are they? Because for fun, I downloaded one, scanned the code with Dreamweaver and found quite a few HTML errors plus one browser compatibility problem! Do all pre-made CSS templates have errors in them?

I have downloaded a free CSS website template? for a webpage I would like to start up but it is telling me that I need to know html or css. Basically I dont know know anything about this. I just thought that I would download the file and it would actually tell me where I could input the text. css website builders?? i have looked everywhere for free programs for building a free website using css but everything i download such as nvu, and amaya, and something called the gimp and i have downloaded many of these, and i tried importing website templates i have downloaded, from http://www.free-css.com/free-css-templates but it doesnt work, is there a website that has really nice premade layouts like those, (tried freewebs and things like that) that i can use or a free program that i can import them in an easier way, or is there just a program that is easy to use because everything ive tried is either too diffictult or doesnt work when importing the templates i know mostly HTML but i was jjust saying css because they say its better to use in the other questions ive asked

CSS website template not uploading properly!? I'm using Dreamweaver to create a website and I've downloaded a free CSS template. I've created the whole website and I've uploaded it to the server using FTP. For some reason, it doesn't display correctly at all. It completely looses all of the template and it is just the text. Help on my website? CSS not working? So I made a website using a free CSS template from the interwebs. The CSS works fine while on my computer, it shows up nice and purty. But I uploaded the "stylesheet.css" along with ALL the pictures it needs, and also my website itself, onto my web hosting server. (which is also free) However, when I access my website online, only the background color works. None of the pictures like the nav bar or side trim pieces, etc. see? somethingelse.webhosting-for-free.com Help? Convert a photoshop website design (psd) to css + html? I have seen many free website templates that have PSD (Photoshop templates) and the css file with them. I have made a design in photoshop, so i was wondering if there is a trick to convert the photoshop file to css or html.. because if I open the css file, the layers are exactly the same in pixels, example: a div layer with these caracteristics: height 25px width 50px top 512px left 450 px, with the same font and font size, etc, etc. Is there a way to convert the photoshop website design i have designed to css, instead of calculating the top, left, right, bottom dimensions of the page?

How can I edit free html or css templates so i can customise them for my site? I have a new community website at http:www.blackcountrygob.com. The website portal was built by someone I am no longer in contact with and I would like to add new areas to the site and also to improve things but I simply have no clue what I'm doing. If you take a look at the site you will see various links to other areas. The jukebox for example is a plain page with the music player embedded in but it looks plain and boring as does the games section. I need help with website templates using Dreamweaver/FTP? I downloaded some free templates and they come in a zip file with a css code and a index along with the images used in the index, however, when i customized the index in dreamweaver (and by customized i mean just changing the text to fit my website) and then I transfer it through a FTP to my website. The result is just my customized text with no template or images. The weird thing is when i just transfer the original css and index from the downloaded template it works, but thats no good to me because the text doesnt fit my webiste. The problem is when i try to customize the orignal index and css to fit my website and then transfer it with FTP it whacks up the tempalte/formatting/and doesnt display images or banner or anything

Free website hosting that let you use more than CSS, HTML, and Java? This is all I need. A free website host that allows you to use more than CSS, HTML, and Java. Certainly no "pre-set templates". Bandwidth and the like are not of a concern. Even if I were to put up .pdf downloads of charts, it's not like those are large files. I only want it so I can code and plan out the site, and see how the pages look before I go to, probably, asmallorange and purchase a domain there. I tried webs.com, but they don't let you use PHP unless you pay some fee or something stupid like that.. A free drawing board, if you will. Actually..Unless you have better suggestions than the orange? I don't really know many aside from webs, weebly, and asmallorange; the orange just seems to be the most reputable and affordable of the three.

Dreamweaver website layout not right in firefox? For the life of me, I can't get my dreamweaver page to show up the same in firefox or ie. How do I put CSS on my site? So, last night I was just like "screw it, I'm gonna make an HTML website" even though I hardly know HTML. Why won't the CSS file for my website work? I have just bought my website and am trying to upload a page that tells everyone that it is still under construction. Need CSS Code for open and close tags? I have a body template that starts off this way: body { background: #020104 all codes etc.. and ends: text-align:center; padding-top:20px; } ... not sure how to open the body tag in CSS and so on.. the free website template only gave this part of the code, no head tags and no style sheet tags, just body insert. Where can I find a great (free!) CSS layout/template for this project? Here's the scoop: Every year my college publishes a book with art and literary work done by the students. The website that was created for the group who publishes this book is quite ugly. I mean super ugly! It's my job to redo the website. At first I was just going to change some colors here and there but now I am thinking I want to just redo the whole thing entirely! How to integrate the links and menu in CSS? I am working on a personal website and I have downloaded a free CSS template. I am somewhat familiar with CSS (its been a few years) but need help integrating the side menu bar and top menu bar in the style sheet so I don't have to change them manually on every page. Website publishing issue? My website is created using dreamweaver and a free css template. The site works great in the 'preview' and when I 'put' the file on the net it works great there too....HOWEVER...when i checked the website from another computer I discovered that it was just a mess and had no formatting, colour, links etc... Young Website Developer: Help me chose a free web host!? Hey guys. I'm currently testing out Wordpress (.org) doftware to make a custom blog for my mother's business (photography). Wordpress (.com) did not work out, because it doesn't have plugin features and (free) CSS editing it's themes. Now, see, I'm only fourteen. I'm a fourteen year young boy. I am no hardcore "coder" but I can make my way around things with onloine tutorials, intuition, and cut & paste. The best free website builder for my blog? I only have very little knowledge of HTML/CSS so I'm not able to build my own website, which means I need a website builder. I've got quite a number of requirements though; - it needs to be FREE. please help?? I have a hunting website and want a website template that nobody else has. I know everything I could possibly know with html, but don't know how to do css. Is there a place on the internet in which I can make my very own template for free? I don't want to download one that someone else has made.

Where is the best place to build a website? I had my own website on yahoo here www.geocities.com/darkdragonofwind But somehow my password, zip code and birth date have been changed. I know because Yahoo told me so when I called them. Anyway, I have to make another website. I know HTML and CSS and I prefer to write out my own code instead of using templates. I don't like advertisements that are at the top of your page and you can't click them away. I also hate advertisements that take up your whole page. Yahoo's advertisement was okay, I was able to get rid of it. So if you know a free place that will host my site for free without making my site all about their advertisement, please let me know. What steps to host/ design/ build my own funky personal website? Hello! I'd be grateful for advice on building my own website. As a hobby, I'd like to create a personal, non-commercial site. I've got no knowledge of HTML, CSS etc. I already own a domain name to use (registered with free hosting with Bravenet), though I don't like their templates or the style of the free adverts. - What can I do about this? (e.g. moving the domain name/ hosting) - What do I do next in terms of designing/ building my website? - Any general recommendations on: hosting/ designing/ building (easy-to-use software/ WYSIWYG website builders etc.) If someone could give me a link to a "How to build a cool website for beginners" guide, I'd be delighted!!! URGENT dreamweaver help needed with CSS file? I made an E-book on my school computer, I need to email it to the examiner. But when I try to open the website on my home computer the template is completely missing but I can still see the content of the site is still there. I think I know what the problem is, my HTML files aren't importing my style sheets. Here is how my folders are layed out: Eportfolio -> img folder , pages folder-> template folder I copied all the CSS files into all those folders just incase, but it still doesnt work. I opened the template.dwt and index page in wordpad and I've changed the link to ="...Eportfolio/Copy of Eportfolio/pages/reset.css I don't have dreamweaver on my home computer so I can only open them in word pad do you think thats the problem? I need to open template in dramweaver then when I changed the link save it so that it changes all the other pages aswell? Or does it not matter if I use wordpad or dreamweaver? I've tried downloading a free trial but the installer on adobe.com won't work on my computer! i've tried searching the internet for other websies that offer the download but they all mirror the adobe one. PLEASE help me this project is due in tomorrow!

How to Customize a Web Template? I am attempting to make a website for using a free web template but unfortunately I am not a design savvy at all. This is the template that I'm interested to use http://www.oswd.org/designs/search/keyword/keyword/silverglow/ It's validation is XHTML 1.0 Transitional and using CSS, so I downloaded it and now I'm not sure what to do. I know I can edit the first page in the 'index' file. But what do I need to do to add more pages? For example making the page for 'service' and 'about us' ? If you know how or know a website that can guide me in customizing a web template I would really really appreciate it. So far I could only found one website that tells me what to do next, but not very informative. Thanks in advance!
