Convert a photoshop website design (psd) to css + html? I have seen many free website templates that have PSD (Photoshop templates) and the css file with them. I have made a design in photoshop, so i was wondering if there is a trick to convert the photoshop file to css or html.. because if I open the css file, the layers are exactly the same in pixels, example: a div layer with these caracteristics: height 25px width 50px top 512px left 450 px, with the same font and font size, etc, etc. Is there a way to convert the photoshop website design i have designed to css, instead of calculating the top, left, right, bottom dimensions of the page?

If someone has a website set up and its dedicated to providing free website templates for others but they have in the format so that the footer shows who designed the free template and it also shows work under CC license would it be okay if I just wanted to make a few changes to the layout? Easy/free website design software? I just bought webhosting for one of my long-standing domain names, and thought I could use the web editor included, but all the templates are really fugly. Unfortunately, I don't know enough about HTML coding to design a site I'm happy with without multiple hours of looking up codes. I only know enough to do some links and maybe change a background picture. Is there a web design software that's really easy to use and free? I'd like to use a free web design template I found, but the Creative Commons license says I have to leave the designer's link on the website. If I am tweaking the design (color, size, layout, etc.) is the design still protected under this license? Website Template Help? Hello all, I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that could help me with my website. I am looking into re designing my website, and have found a free template that I want to use. I have downloaded all the components that are needed for the template, but are unsure where to upload it to on my websites control panel. In the components, there are about 20 images, scripts etc. I have tried uploading these to my websites control panel, but on the HTML editer page, I cant seem to get the whole page to come together. I am fairly good with HTML, but I want a site builder that is easy to use so that she could update it on her own. I am looking to buy a program that allows you to create the site using visuals rather than HTML text, you know? Like FrontPage, I guess--that gives you the code while you alter your site. Creating a template in Dreamweaver problems!! - using free templates from the internet? Hello! I am trying to create a website with Dreamweaver....I am a beginner..so what I am trying to do is find a template that I can download and enter my text, images, etc on the existing template. I found some free templates online and when I upload them, Dreamweaver opens up and it came out with a bunch of codes...I tried to view it in "Design View" but it doesnt give me that option....I've also tried to copy all the codes from the template and paste it into a new page, it still came out with a bunch of codes all jumble together.
